During my BSc in Molecular Life Sciences, specializing in health and nutrition, I have worked for several sustainability organizations, knowing that humans are part of the ecosystem earth just like every other living being. To not act sustainably therefore also means to not maintain our own ecological niche. During my two MSc degrees in Development & Rural Innovation and Communication, Health & Life Sciences, I have broadened my knowledge on the complex interplay between humans and the environment they live in.

My work experience ranges from soil analysis in a laboratory to communication and event management, education, circular economy policy and administration. Because of my broad engagement in the sustainability community, I was named as one of the top 20 Sustainable Young 100 (Duurzame Jonge 100) of the Netherlands in 2016.

My role within EnvirometriX is to help with managing and coordinating projects, including organizing workshops and events and assisting with variety of logistical issues.

In addition to my work and studies, I run a non-profit organization and am involved in several local sustainability initiatives.
